Your account and shipping address
Provide accurate account details and keep your login credentials private. Confirm your email and wait for your assigned US shipping address before sending purchases. Use your own full name and complete address, including your unique mailbox number, such as YARDSHIPPERS1001. Incorrect or missing details can delay package identification.
Identification and invoices
Complete Profile settings with your TRN and an accepted identification document. Upload genuine purchase receipts showing the items and purchase value when requested. Missing documents may delay processing. Use the secure account upload feature for identification; do not send your TRN or ID by email.
Shipping rates
Shipping is J$750 for the first billable pound and J$550 for each additional full pound, with a J$750 minimum per package. Under 2 lb: J$750. From 2 to under 3 lb: J$1,300. From 3 to under 4 lb: J$1,850. Customs, storage and other disclosed service charges are separate. Existing issued bills retain their original amounts. The website calculator gives an estimate, not a customs assessment.
Customs and shipment contents
Provide accurate item descriptions, values and documents. Packages are subject to customs assessment, inspection and import requirements. Do not send unlawful goods. Contact us before shipping restricted items to confirm acceptance and any required permits. Arrival dates are estimates unless a specific guarantee has been agreed in writing; customs, transport disruptions and missing documents can cause delays.
Payments and collection
We currently accept cash and bank transfers. Debit card payments are not yet available. All charges for the packages being collected must be paid in full before release, including shipping, assessed customs and applicable storage or other disclosed charges. Bank transfers must be confirmed as received. Keep your payment receipt or transaction reference.
Pickup location and hours
Collect at Kensington District, Welcome Hall P.O., St. James, Jamaica, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Jamaica time). Closed Sundays. Wait for your ready-for-collection notification before visiting. Someone may collect on your behalf with their own valid ID and the package tracking number. Full payment is still required.
Storage
The seven calendar days following the ready-for-collection notification are free. Starting on day eight, storage is J$100 per package per calendar day while awaiting collection in Jamaica. We send a reminder when the free period ends. Contact us if you need assistance arranging collection.
Lost or damaged packages
Contact yardshippers@gmail.com promptly with your tracking number, purchase receipt and photographs where applicable. Keep the item and packaging while we investigate. We will review the circumstances and explain the outcome and any applicable remedy in writing. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable law.
Refunds and complaints
Contact yardshippers@gmail.com with your tracking number and payment reference to report a billing error or overpayment. Once verified, YardShippers will refund the confirmed overpaid or incorrectly charged amount to you. Contact us about cancellation requests or other service concerns so we can review the circumstances and explain the available options.
Changes and applicable law
Future changes will be published with an updated effective date. Jamaican law applies, subject to mandatory rights and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Customers may also contact Jamaica’s Consumer Affairs Commission about consumer complaints.
